You do have the time just not the energy

Prioritizing Personal Wellness

I believe that your levels of productivity are tied directly to how well you are taking care of your physical vessel. Often times when we feel burnout, it could be caused by a lack of energy, which itself can be caused by neglecting your health. If you feel tired all the time, it can make it harder to work on the things that you know you need to.

The Fluctuating Nature of Energy

Energy levels depend on physical health, mental state, and other factors, and they directly impact productivity. You may not necessarily need to manage your time better but your energy levels. Identifying how your energy levels can fluctuate throughout the day can better help you plan your most productive work.

Identifying Energy Drains

What’s equally important to be conscious of are the habits that drain your energy. Take a look at your total screen time, how much of it is dedicated towards mindlessly scrolling on a social media site? Or reading news stories that contribute towards stress and anxiety? How about the sugary snack that makes you crash a couple hours later? Recognizing how these habits are destroying your energy levels will motivate you to replace them with something better.

How to better understand this concept in our modern world

As the demands of the 21st century become more cognitive based, mastering this concept can put you ahead of the competition, for a better understanding of this notion, here a link to a youtube video by Johnny Harris Why you’re so tired
